Advocates for physician-assisted suicide
Brittany Maynard Jack Kevorkian
"Not everybody has to agree that it's the right thing, because they don't have to do it. And it's an option that for me has provided a lot of relief, because the way that my brain cancer would take me organically is very terrible. It's a horrible way to die. The thought that I can spare myself the physical and emotional lengthy pain of that, as well as my family, is a huge relief."-Brittany Maynard

Dr Kaliash Chand is an advocate for the euthanasia movement. He believes people who are terminally ill, and mentally competent should be given the choice of physician assisted suicide. Also, the law should not criminalize people who accompany those who make rational decisions to end suffering.

Pathos
In this article Brittany Maynard explains why she was choosing to end her life. She also explains the struggles she was going through with her illness. I chose this article because she had to deal with an illness and believed in death with dignity laws. This article shows physician assisted suicide should be legal because people should have the rights to their own body, and not have to suffer.
